Didactic Laboratory
Casa Jubileo, on the Montagnola Siena, was the scene on 28 March 1944 of one of the most dramatic episodes of the liberation struggle, with the massacre of 19 partisans. Since 1997, Casa Giubileo has become a symbol of the Resistance in the province of Siena, and since 1997 it has also been a teaching laboratory for contemporary history, able to offer a variety of work paths agreed with teachers and guided by the advisors of the Historical Institute.
In addition to the educational workshop, the house has a guesthouse that can accommodate, for overnight stays, groups of up to 24 people. The house is immersed in the woods of Montemaggio, where there are many hiking trails and enjoys a location that allows you to easily reach Siena, Monteriggioni, Colle Val d’Elsa and San Gimignano.
Where is the Jubilee House located?
